Independent slider images

  • Hello,
    I was wondering if there was a way to have the images in the slider to be different/separate than the images in the post? Or perhaps you have another theme that supports this?

    I would like my slider images to be just images and not tied to pages or posts, this way they can be sized and serve as my logo and highlight the sites purpose.

    Hello planetright,

    Currently the slider is coded to query for posts in a specific category for the slideshow – what you propose is certainly doable but not straight forward a task.

    Let me look in to and see if I can come up with an option do that and if so I’ll incorporate it in to the theme.

    As for other themes, unfortunately I don’t have one with that feature but as you have raised it as something that is required then its time to put the thinking cap and see what we can deliver – if anything will be sure to share it with the community ??
