Increased my layout shift

  • The plugin was fine until the recent update is made by the most stupid developer. I was using Table of Content in almost every multiple heading pages. And it used to load properly without making layout shift.
    When I updated this plugin, I found that the cumulative layout shift of every page containing the TOC block has raised. For longer one toc the cls was 1.5.
    And they have made the block to load as small rectangle then expand to full size. Why? Why are you doing that?
    Do you guys even check before rolling the update?

    And, another thing, why can’t I disabled the button in my page and post editor. It is huge and useless button. I don’t want to import random page into my post. At least give functionality to disable it.

    Sorry to hear that you aren’t happy with our plugin.

    Just to let you know, the issue mentioned above is rare and in fact, we haven’t heard or experienced it ourselves.

    We aren’t able to replicate this at our end. Our developers are working on this and we’ll update you in case we find something.

    In the meanwhile, can you please open a support thread where we can follow up and figure why that is happening at your end?
