Same issue on my site. Host indicates that this process has been out of hand for the last 5 days

    [04/Mar/2018:16:03:48 -0600] “GET /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-style/admin/predefined-templates.json HTTP/1.0” 200 1323 “https://[domain removed]/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-style/admin/predefined-templates.json” “WordPress/4.9.4; [domain removed]”

I ended up disabling the plugin to see if it resolved the issue. Can’t have a runaway plugin chewing up my server resources.

Would love to hear from the developer what the resolution to this is.

    Greetings @demenyzo and @seanrnicholson,

We have updated the plugin, please feel free to upgrade your version too, and please give us a feedback. Did the increased I/O gone to only one reading of the file?

    Best regards,
    Lehel
