Increase Width Of Theme?

Are you sure you need that many menu items? Even if you increase the width, your users with smaller screen sizes will still see the menu items wrap around (unless you plan on changing the media query widths in the CSS files).

In any event, you can change the default width of 960px to be an 100% width. From your Dashboard, go to Appearances > Montezuma Options > CSS Settings > Choose CSS Grid. Pick one of the 100% grids, either Responsive or not (I would pick Responsive if you’re designing for readability on mobile devices). Make sure you read the paragraphs above and below the radio buttons so you understand what the options mean. Of course, if you pick an option, and it turns out you don’t like it, pick another, play around as much as you want. But if you want the width to span the entire width of the browser window, then pick one of the 100% widths and not one of the 960px widths.

I tried the 100% but didn’t like the way it looks, is there a way I can change 960px to be slightly bigger (e.g. 1020px)?

Not sure. Read the section under Editing CSS. The bottom part that talks about exact column widths says you can enter exact widths for your columns, but it says you have to make sure all of your widths (including margins) “add up to the row width, which usually is 960 pixels in pixel based Grids.” I don’t know if the word “usually” means it can be different (i.e., 1020). I guess it might be possible if all of the columns in each row on the page added up to 1020px.

You can try defining custom column widths in index.php under Main Templates and in header.php under Sub Templates and see if you can make it work. If you still can’t get it to work, you can try posting a question in the Bytes for All support forum, you might be able to find someone there to answer your question.
