    Hello SG ??

“If they continue with unsuccessful attempts, they will be restricted for 24 hours and 7 days after that.” I would like to increase it to: “If they continue with unsuccessful attempts, they will be restricted for 7 days hours and forever after that.” Do you have some code snippet for that? I guess in next version it would be good to make option to set it up manually + block country for login page.

    Thanks for help ??

    Hello @lipowski ,

Thank you for your suggestions. Permanently blocking an IP should be manage at your hosting server’s level For example, if you are a SiteGround customer, we provide our customers with a very intuitive interface for this. Same is true for blocking an entire country. So, you can manually block IPs which are blocked for 7 days on the server level.

The reason why such blocks should better be applied on the server level is that each blocked IP in a plugin increases the site’s script executions which would eventually affect the performance of the site, when there are too many blocked IPs forever.
