Increase Post Limit on product purchase

Hi there,
Is it possible to increase a post limit set on a product purchase, as opposed to resetting the limit?

Ie. default limit set to 1.
When certain product is purchase {
increase limit by 1.
}

This would be a huge fix to my current scenario,
