Increase payment amount for existing members

    I have a group of members who are already paying recurring payments. If I raise the price of that membership level will it charge the existing members the higher rate when the next payment gets charged or will they continue to get billed at the lower rate? Thanks!

    Hi @bendproweb,

    I do believe that the users will be billed the same amount as their initial signup. This would only affect new registrations.

    I would assume once they renew their membership (if it expires) it should update.

    Just to add on to what Andrew said,

    Users who already have a membership will continue to be billed the old price of the membership, this is to protect users from agreeing to a price and being billed another. The user should be billed the new price once their membership expires or they cancel their account and checkout again (Usually it is a good idea to encourage them to do this by offering a free month or two onto their membership).
