    Hi Kristos,

Please increase max allowed object cache size to at least 1.5MB for SG optimizer memcache.

Sure OK, above 1MB might slow your site down, but automatically disabling it 100% will result in huge perf loss (up to 40%, for TTBF as well).

As far as we’re concerned, we squeezed WP_OPTIONS to 1,071KB really that’s as good as it gets. Can’t delete/set autoload OFF on more entries in this table no more.

Because of this extra 71KB BAM I get my perf killed big time (much more than I would with memcache enabled for this value.

Please consider increasing it in the next update, it really is a headache. I’ve spent days and days reducing it the 1st time already since you introduced it a few updates back.

On big websites such value is variable and I’ll bet whatever you want that it’s overall killing more perf than helping databases with bloated WP_OPTIONS tables on big websites.

    Thanks for your consideration

    BR

I am afraid this is not something that we will do. 1MB of slab / single object size is standard for Memcached and can’t be simply increased withoug additional issues.

As far as I can see you have full page caching on CF so requests don’t even reach the web server, myslq or the memcached. If you can’t reduce the size of your options table under 1MB (which is quite a lot for text) you can just keep it off.
