Incorrect word count

Happens on my two websites as well, and I’ve heard from other people about having the same problem, too.

Not just the wordcount, but also the KW in the first 100 words and a bunch of other checks are incorrect.

It started happening after the last update.

Can you please let us know if you are using the block from Kadence that is called “Buttons (Adv)”? We ask this because we noticed an issue with that block and our Content Analysis API, and our developers are currently investigating that.

We also suggest you to contact Kadence Blocks support and inform them about this issue as they may already have a solution for this.

I don’t know about Greg, but I’m using it on both websites.

Yes, I use the Buttons (Adv) block extensively. Looking at one of the pages where the block is not present, RankMath reports the correct number of words. I hope that this conflict can be resolved quickly and I will also file a support ticket with Kadence. Thanks.

Since the issue started with the recent update from Kadance, we would recommend checking with them as most users have also ready reported to them.
