Hi, in the settings/checkout section for billing I have left a required attribute (Country/Region*) with the checkbox for “Enable field” unchecked.

As expected, the field does not show up when I try to checkout, but after filling required information I get a validation error when I try to checkout “Billing Country/Region is a required field.” Really weird since there is no field to input Country/Region.
This only happens in non-Chromium based web browsers, specifically firefox.
It works correctly in opera, chrome, edge etc.
    See screenshots.

Is there a way to resolve this?

Never mind. I found a fix in the manual. I defined a default store address in woocommerce settings and set a Default customer location.
Strange that it only became obvious in firefox and not in any chromium-based browser.

    Hello @user70

I checked this setting on a clean WP installation and did not notice a similar message when using Firefox. So I assume it was indeed an issue with the store setup mentioned.
