incorrect use of the_title or get_the_title

Hello. I recently installed Virtue on my site, and it broke all the subtitles from the Subtitles plugin – they show up on the post page, but they are broken in the preview view on the homepage. I researched the issue and found this explanation. It appears to be a theme issue. Is this something you can repair?
