    Will try the suggested solution.
Should this issue arise because of older WP version?
We are currently on WP version 5.4.1 and it shows that an update is available

Also if we uninstall and then reinstall the plugin, how will it impact our seo elements like title, description, index/no index for all the articles?

    Hello!

We do not recommend using outdated versions of WordPress, including (our own) plugins and themes, for the reasons covered in?this article. Therefore, we’d recommend you update WordPress first.

As for your other concern, all your settings are saved in the database so even if you remove the plugin and install it again, your settings are safe.
