Incorrect times on detail page

    Any event I create for 2020 shows the start and/or end times correctly on both the backend (event list) and the grid view (shows start time only) but when you go to the detail page for the event, the times are incorrect.

    For example, I created an event for 1/25/2020 that starts at 10:30am and ends at 1:30pm. The event list on the backend shows the correct times. The grid view shows the correct start time. When you go to the detail page the event is listed as 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

    I stand corrected: In the Manage Events list view, the time is also incorrect. I’ve edited these events, deleted and recreated them, and nothing seems to make a difference. I’ve tried editing the templates with no success. My next step will be to edit the templates to remove the times altogether and have the client make sure the times are in the description. Is no one else having this issue? I’ve checked my server time, switched back and forth between php versions and I can’t figure out what’s happening here.

    And this is *only* for events in 2020?

    After re-checking it is all events that now display the time incorrectly. I only noticed the 2020 ones since those are the ones I added that were getting feedback about incorrect times.

    I went into WordPress settings and changed the timezone from ‘Denver’ to ‘UTC-7’ and the times now appear to read correctly.

    Interesting. There are some subtle differences between using the text description of a timezone and the numeric version – but they’re mostly about knowing whether or not it’s daylight savings, and I wouldn’t expect that to be a problem.

    I’ll have to look around and see what’s up, if I can reproduce this.

    Numerous events have no end time. I entered start times but left the end times blank but the plugin automatically changes this to one hour after the start time. Need to be able to leave end time blank.

    Also should be able to add email and website URL for locations.
