Incorrect series icon location being saved to database

Today when I tried to add a new series to my site I was able to create the series but unable to add an Icon. When I went to the SQL database to add the URL manually it was already saved in the record. but it contained a full URL rather than a relative URL like all the rest of the entries. When I canged it from
to
wp-content/uploads/mypicture.png
it worked as expected.
