Incorrect search page URL when using fullscreen menu search function

NOTE: I know that a topic about this subject already exists, but it’s closed and the issue still exists.
The search form in the fullscreen menu only works on the homepage. When you search from another page, the search page URL is incorrect. For example, when I use the search form from https://www.example.com/page-title/subpage-title , it would direct to:
https://www.example.com/page-title/subpage-title/?s=keyword
Result: 404 PAGE NOT FOUND
I think it should be possible to fix this?? Any help is welcome, thanks!
