Hi,

Here is the issue:

After payment the redirect url is (according to paypal tech team):

https://safeboatingworld.com/?wc-ajax=ppc-return-url

Which results in this incorrect URL after purchase: https://safeboatingworld.com/attendee-registration/thank-you-for-your-payment/50881/?tickets_provider=tribe_wooticket&key=wc_order_4gYf2iEUwqE2B

Instead of:

https://safeboatingworld.com/thank-you-for-your-payment/

I have already double checked that the redirect settings are correct in both paypal and woocommerce by contacting both support teams. Yet this issue is still exists. There is clearly some kind of glitch that is making the redirect not work the way it is suppose to/the way it is setup to work.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

To confirm, after the customer completes the payment at PayPal, they are redirected to:
https://safeboatingworld.com/?wc-ajax=ppc-return-url
which then redirects to the incorrect URL:
https://safeboatingworld.com/attendee-registration/thank-you-for-your-payment/50881/?tickets_provider=tribe_wooticket&key=wc_order_4gYf2iEUwqE2B

Is my understanding correct?

I checked the incorrect URL and noticed that if I removed 50881 from the URL redirection worked fine.
Could you please check what is this number 50881?
For example, is it an order number, custom id, or anything meaningful?

Also, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
The SSR will allow me to inspect your site’s configuration and guide you accurately.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, Is this issue only happening when a customer chooses PayPal as a payment method?
While other payment methods like Credit Cart and Venmo are redirected to the correct URL.
Is my understanding correct?

Next, I recommended contacting Event Tickets plugin support and asking them if they recognize this URL
https://safeboatingworld.com/attendee-registration/thank-you-for-your-payment/50881/?tickets_provider=tribe_wooticket&key=wc_order_4gYf2iEUwqE2B
and the number 50881.

These type of URLs is not found in WooCommerce by default.
A plugin is likely modifying the redirect URLs.

Let me know when you have heard from Event Tickets plugin support.
Their insights will help solve this issue. ??

Thank you Zubair for your help and direction. I contacted the Event tech team and they came up with a temporary solution by using a php override script to fix this issue.
