    Hi.

If we add this product to the cart in your demo site, the price in the cart is with a line over it, and then the discounted, and the subtotal for the item (row) is the non-discounted price. If we go to checkout, the price is $20 for some reason with line over it, and the subtotal for the item is the discounted this time. Two weird things here.

If we add this other product to the cart, the price has no line over it, it is just the discounted everywhere. And in checkout it has line over it. So this product is different than the first one somehow.

Which is even the correct behaviour, I am not sure.

    Regards.

    Hi,

First of all, thank you for considering our plugin.

The product ‘Beanie with Logo’ displays a strikethrough price in the cart because our plugin applies a ‘Percentage of Product Price’ discount rule to it.

However, the product ‘Single’ has a regular price of 3 and a sale price of 2, with no product-based discount rule applied. Despite this, its price still appears without a strikethrough.

    Thank you

I see that currently it is working in a different way, so I assume you have changed something. Now the beanie shows a $20 with strike on the product page, which was not there before.

But even now, there is something strange. See this image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/177vIUUdHOKMdrdN-gxPNCEbdym3yywqm/view?usp=sharing

See how the item subtotal is 17.10, but the subtotal for the cart is $18. Don’t you think that the subtotal of the cart has to show the sum of subtotals of all items?

And in the checkout the subtotal for the line item is $18, which is not the same as the one for the line in the cart. This also seems inconsistent.

Is all this working as intended?

    Hi Nikolay Nikolov,

    Apologies for the confusion.

The product, Beanie with Logo, has a regular price of $20 and a sale price of $18. With our dynamic pricing plugin, a 5% quantity-based discount is applied when eligible.

Please note that the dynamic pricing rule is implemented as a WooCommerce virtual coupon, meaning the discount will only be applied after the cart subtotal is calculated. This works similarly to a standard WooCommerce coupon.

But the way it is displayed, if we sum the subtotals of the items, it does not match the subtotal of the cart. Don’t you think this is a problem?

Try using a normal coupon code from woocommerce and see that it is applied after the subtotal but the prices of the items above is not changed. You show a discounted price for the items, then show a subtotal without a discount, and then add a discount.

    Hi,

When using our plugin, we also display the discount in the Cart content area. Sorry for the confusion. Showing the discount for each product in the cart is helpful for users, especially when adding multiple products.

Anyway, I guess there is nothing we can do about that then. I will probably use another plugin since this looks incorrectly displayed to me. Thanks for your time. I will mark it resolved.
