Incorrect Permissions for Plugin pages
-
I have a plugin installed on a server and have followed the installation instructions to the letter. However, when I try to gain access to the other pages, I receive the “You do not have sufficient permissions to view this page” error. The plugin works on other installations of WordPress I have so I know the plugin is not to blame here. Could it be that my WordPress is not setting the correct permissions for me? i.e. I am able to view the main page of a plugin but not sub menu pages? If so, where would I be able to view where this is stored and how do I go about changing this?
I should also mention that I am an administrator with maximum privileges and as far as I know, the installation of WordPress is a standard one (I am a blogger and the site belongs to someone else). However, it does seem that there is a lot less information saved on each user within wp_usermeta but the row
wp_capabilities
does exist with the value = a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}
