    Hello;

    I just found out that the Permalink automatically inserted in the notification email was incorrect.

    The URL “shows” correctly in the email, but the actual URL is missing the “:” after the http, leading to an error page.

    Please help thank you.

    Hi @timbudong,
    Thanks for your message.

    Can you share the portion of the notification that you’re using for this so that I can see how the link is being constructed? It’s possible that your email app is messing with the URL to make it into a link but breaking it somehow too.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Jack,

    I just use the shortcode [permalink] provided by default.

    Again, the adress shows correctly, but the link is broken because the “:” is missing in the url.

    Thank you!!

    Hi @timbudong,
    So if you’re just adding [permalink] to your notification and not adding <a href> around it but it’s appearing as a link in your email app, then your email app is looking for links in your email message body and then turning it into a link for you. This is quite common functionality in email apps but sometimes it can mess with the link.

    If the permalink is outputting correctly when you use the shortcode but the link that’s being added isn’t correct, then the problem seems to be your email app as opposed to BNFW. Can you try in a different app and see if that helps?

    Thanks,
    Jack
