When using SliceWP to calculate pay-outs, either individually or for all affiliates together, 2 of the 5 pay-outs being calculated are incorrect…

    1. Calculated by SliceWP as £86.06, but it should be £212.36
    2. Calculated by SliceWP as £59.42, but it should be £809.42

The other 3 affiliates with qualifying pay-outs are correctly being calculated.

I can’t see any reason why this should be happening, how do I correct it?

FYI, the affiliate in #1 above has had two pay-outs previously, none of the others including #2 above has had any pay-outs yet.

I determined what the pay-outs should be by counting back the number of days of our grace period on the calendar, and then adding up all unpaid commissions being shown for the affiliate from BEFORE that date.

    Hey @simeoncn,

Thank you for reaching out! Your assessment is correct. When generating a payout, the plugin will look for all unpaid commissions that have been created before the time of the payout minus the grace period.

When generating a payout, you have the option to include or exclude commissions that are in the grace period, by enabling/disabling the “Grace Period Commissions” option.

Please generate a preview of the payout with and without this option enabled to see if the values are different. If they are, certain commissions are still in the grace period.

However, if a commission is already a part of a payout payment, even if the commission’s status is unpaid, it will not get calculated. This is a protection measure to make sure commissions are not included in multiple payout payments.

Please check if you have payouts with unprocessed payments where these commissions could be in.

Additionally, if you can share a few screenshots with the unpaid commissions that you have and the payouts that you currently have, I’d appreciate it.

However, considering that this is a public forum and these screenshots could contain information that you may not want to share publicly, please contact us with this via our website, here: https://slicewp.com/contact/

Once you reach out via our website, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

Everything in settings is in order. We have responded to you as requested using your contact form (different email address on the SliceWP account) and we have submitted 6 screenshots clearly documenting the problem. However, your online upload interface for these screenshots generated a list of them with a red x on the left of each. So I’m not sure you’ll even get them, tried it several times, same each time. If you don’t get them, please email me normally as with previous tickets and I can send them to you that way. They were png files which your website said were acceptable, and their size was well under the max bytes you stated was allowed.

    Hey @simeoncn,

Thank you for reaching out privately! I’ve received your message and all screenshots.

Just so you are aware, the red X icon before the file name is not an error, but the “delete this file” icon. If you click it, that file will be removed from the support ticket.

I can see though how this icon can be confusing. We’ll review this and redesign this part of the contact form to make it more user friendly. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I will review your ticket shortly and get back to you via email as soon as possible.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai
