    Hi Yair,

    That message is a new setting in your form settings and it means that the email entered was already on the selected MailChimp list.

    Previous versions would just show the “successfully signed-up” message again but in version 4.0, we can differentiate between new sign-ups and updated subscribers.

    To remedy, simply set your desired message by going to your form and then opening up the “Messages” tab.

    Let me clarify.

    I setup the various messages in the “Messages” tab. Other message changes, such as message to display if email is already subscribed, works as expected.

    Only the successful subscription message always shows the default value instead of the override value.

    Hi Yair,

    Sorry, what I tried to say is that you are most likely trying with an email address that is already on the selected MailChimp list with “update existing subscribers” enabled, so the plugin will show the bottom message “Updated” from the “Messages” tab in your form settings.

    You can change this message there (it’s a new message introduced by version 4.0).

    I tried the other case where the “Updated” message can not be changed but I was unable to reproduce that issue.

    I can confirm this issue:

    After updating to 4.0 all new subscribers are receiving the “Updated” form message rather than the “successfully subscribed” form message.

    I am not using double opt-in. With that enabled, this does not occur.

    Hey all,

    I was able to fix this issue and will push out an update for this shortly. We’re holding off on officially releasing an update as we want to aggregate a few issues into one single release, as opposed to multiple version bumps in a short timespan.
