• Attached are 2 images; one is the admin area for user results for search “max” and other is front-end global search for “max”. https://imgur.com/a/TP7utnU

The main issue is that the front end search result label lists 3 results, but then only 2 are shown. I’ve done this search logged in as the user mjones as well as logged out (and on multiple themes) with the same results.

I am also curious why search only seems to return on member username and not on the first name or last name fields? Is this by design or also a bug?

Can you check on your admin dashboard under BuddyBoss > Global Search and make sure to activate all the items you want to be included in the search result. For members, you may want to activate the Display Name and Base Name.

    Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the advice. That did resolve the issue of some user’s not appearing in search when they should.

The count is still off by one, and the user that is not being displayed in the results is the one that was labeled as a spammer. Is it possible that user’s flagged as spammers are being returned by Global Search for the result count, but not being displayed in the results?

That is not possible, users marked as a spammer is already excluded from the search result.
