The links are not incorrect except Link 1. Did you copy Link 1 correctly?

After you upload a static file, your web server should serve its content. It’s the default behavior of any WordPress website.

But when I clicked ‘Link 2‘, I got a ‘404 Not Found’ error. Here is the screenshot. Your web server must have a misconfiguration; our plugin has no control over it.

If you can’t fix this issue even with the help of your web hosting provider, please try the DNS-01 challenge instead. You must create two DNS TXT records with your domain registrar (or DNS provider). Please search for your domain registrar’s documentation on how to set DNS TXT records. Once you set the DNS TXT records, please wait at least 15 minutes before you proceed.

Link 1 is copied correctly. When downloading “Verification file 1”, a file named “live” is downloaded. It says:

When loading “Verification file 2” it downloads a file named “dCS_YpSpLtc17KvRBUOwUrtEqUzt7EsQHAHvBO2ZKlE”. It says: “dCS_YpSpLtc17KvRBUOwUrtEqUzt7EsQHAHvBO2ZKlE.on-QpxO67ebgSMKQak-sauHezmG7Hw0U5-_2sE8eEc0”.

Link 2 works. File 1 and link 1 are generated incorrectly. You can can they be regenerated?

Unable to pass DNS-01. The provider prohibits creating resource records.

The plugin is currently disabled, and the .well-known folder has been deleted as unnecessary.

I installed the certificate in another way. But the problem requires a solution, since I do not know if I can use this method next time.

@maksim22 So, “Verification file 2” is working correctly, and the issue is with “Verification file 1”.

We need more information to diagnose the issue.

Please post the content of the option ‘aifs_return_array_step1_manually ‘. It’s in the WordPress database’s “#_options” table, where ‘#_’ is the  WordPress Database Table prefix.

The data of the option ‘aifs_return_array_step1_manually ‘ you posted is corrupted somehow.

If I unserialize, it returns false and display a notice. e.g., at https://onlinephp.io/unserialize if I enter this data and click ‘Run code’, the result is the following:

But the plugin get any other data.?With this data, you won’t see Verification file 1, Verification file 2, and Link 1, Link 2.

I know. So what should I do? Is it possible to generate new verification files? Or is the ability to get SSL using this plugin no longer available for this site?

Please delete the option ‘aifs_return_array_step1_manually ‘ from WordPress database and try again.
