Incorrect "From" name and email address

  • Hi,

    I installed a plugin and receive some request of quote from visitors, thanks for this handy plugins!

    However, I found that the “From name and email address is follow the setting from default Woocommerce “Email Option”, which is our own store name and email address. This is sort of misleading to our staffs while receive email sent from this plugin =(

    I hope next update will improve on this

    Hi, I update 1.1.6 and found that we can make change the “From Name” and “From” Email Address” individually on “Email to request a quote” setting.

    How can I make it as the value from site visitors?

    Hi, so so sorry for the delay

    However, what I meant is how can we make the “From” Name & “From” Email Address as customers/site visitors input value?

    Is there any place holder for it? As the “From” name is still showing our store name if we leave it blank.

    we have tested it in the latest version of the plugin and all works fine. Are you sure that a you have not installed an smtp plugin?

    @yithemes Google, Hotmail and Yahoo all may revert the email to the account owner. Are you sure your user is not using one of those services?

    Also this practice is known as spoofing, and without an SMTP plugin to set the envelope MAIL FROM, these messages may be flagged as spam, phishing, or simply disappear. Just an FYI. Here’s my article on it.
