I have created a series of recurring events and unique events. The dates of the unique events (both on the calendar and event pages) are correct. The recurring events are not correct.

I am writing this at 3:30AM Wednesday morning. It is April 1st, yet the event scheduled for the 31st of March is highlighted. The calendar is as of 3:30AM one day back. In addition, when you click on the event for the 31st, the event is dated March 30th.

I have deactivated all plugins and then deactivated Events Manager and reactivated it first. The problem remains.

    Plugins:

    Contact Form 7
    Custom Banners
    Exclude Pages from Navigation
    NextGEN Gallery
    Page Links To
    Simple Retail Menus
    WP Responsive Menu

    Timezone is Chicago.

Date format is “April 1, 2015”

    Time format is “12:45 pm”

    “Week starts on Monday”

As of now, 12:45 PM April 1, the correct day is showing up on the calendar. So there must be an issue of a few hours difference between the calendar and actual time.

However, on the events page for today, the date still shows 3/31. This holds true with every recurring event (the date on the event page is one day back from the date listed on the calendar.)

Let me add another issue to this topic, and I’ll include a link. There is a “special” today at the restaurant, and it shows on the calendar, but not on the homepage, where this is also supposed to go.

This is the code on the WordPress Home page:

    [events_list category="2" limit="1" scope="today"]
    <h2 class="specials">#_EVENTNAME</h2>
    <h3 class="specials">#_EVENTTIMES</h3>
    <h4 class="specials">#_EVENTNOTES</h4>[/events_list]

And this is the homepage (the calendar is on the navbar @ “Who’s Playing When”):

I’ve just found the issue on the “specials” issue, but am still unable to resolve the date issue.

in your settings for timezone, you can try to use manual offsets instead of per city timezone.
