• Hi

Just spotted something I think is a bug.
It is flagging up WP Super Cache as Last Updated 112 months ago however if you check the plugin’s page it was last updated 1 week ago.

It does this for one or two plugins for example WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping is another one where it is showing an incorrect date.

Most of the dates are correct, it is just one or two that show incorrectly.
If you need anymore info let me know.

    Thanks

    Hmmm… I get 0 months for WordFence.

However, I do see that the Weight Based Shipping info is off so I’ll look into that one.

    Thanks for letting me.

So I’m not finding an issue with my code. I don’t manipulate the data that is sent back to me from www.remarpro.com. In addition, looking at the plugin’s page I see some odd info. It says it’s compatible with WP 4.7.2 which was just released and yet the plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 months. So it seems something is out of whack. No doubt the plugin still works fine, but some of the meta data seems to not have been updated.

I’ll keep watching though in case there’s actually a bigger problem.

The problem has been fixed in the latest version I just released.

Fantastic but it seems to now not be loading the plugin list. it shows me the first plugin and then nothing.

It looks to me like there’s possibly an error breaking it but Debug isn’t showing me any errors at present.

Ah! just spotted something, it seems to do it with plugins that have never been in the WordPress repository. Hope that helps

In my test environment I see plugins marked as never in the repo. Can you tell me which plugin it’s breaking on? Maybe there’s something about that plugin that I haven’t accounted for.

Sure, it currently breaks on Akeeba Backup for WordPress https://www.akeebabackup.com/products/akeeba-backup-wordpress.html and I saw it break on Advanced Custom Fields Pro on a separate site.

Thanks. I actually just updated the plugin to remove some debug output that may have been breaking it for you. Let me know if all is good. In the meantime, I’ll check out the plugin you mentioned for a demo version I can test against.

That seemed to do the trick for me and I think the date issue is sorted too.
    Thank you for your help.

Ok spoke too soon (you are going to be sick of me at the rate :D)

That Fatal error has reappeared “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in ../wp-content/plugins/enhanced-plugin-admin/enhanced-plugin-admin.php on line 77 “

Not at all. In fact I appreciate your patience.

The problem is that plugin developers seem to be doing things I’m not expecting like naming their plugins in a non-standard manner. It seems you’ve found another case I didn’t anticipate even though I test against 80 plugins.

Any idea on what plugin the error is being triggered?

    Hi

Sorry I took awhile to get back to you.
I created a fresh install of the latest version of WordPress to try and work out what broke it and Enhanced Plugin Admin wouldn’t activate. This is with only the default plugins “Hello Dolly” and “Akismet” present.

I’m stuck. The plugin works for me on multiple sites and I can’t reproduce the issue.
