Incorrect data in product

Hey there,

I haven’t heard of a theme that allows you to add products before – can you tell me more about this theme?

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.

Thank you for the response. Maybe i explain this wrongly or a bit fuzzy. I will explain this again.

The product that i mentioned above is the tours service that we offer. The theme that i’m using is Traveler Theme from Shine Theme. We can manage a few services such as tours, rentals, hotels etc with this theme.

I’m trying to find what’s the root for this problem, either woocommerce plugin or theme. I already asked this in Woocommerce github. They are saying that the theme isn’t compatible with my plugin’s version. And as for the theme, my support has already expired. They only reply this to me, “Woocommerce product and Tours are two different things. They didn’t manage woocommerce product.” I’m aware of that, but why some Tours are included in Woocommerce product list ?

Okay, here is the situation.

We only use Woocommerce because current theme didn’t support the payment gateway. So, all booking and orders will be processed through Woocommerce. And because of this issue, we cannot use the coupon function provided by the theme. We have tried to create a coupon using theme’s function, but nothing happen. It didn’t take any action when we enter the coupon in cart.

So, we tried to use coupon function within Woocommerce plugin. It works. I mean, it does reduce the price when we enter the coupon code. However, like I said, the data isn’t tally.

It’s very difficult to know what your theme is doing, as it’s not the standard way of doing things within WooCommerce. Under normal circumstances, a theme should only control the look and feel of the site, while plugins are responsible for functionality. So in your case, I’d expect a theme, WooCommerce, and then plugins to handle bookings, such as the WooCommerce Bookings plugin:

Because of how differently this theme works, I don’t have any insight into what’s going on. If you want to continue using it, then I’d recommend renewing support with the original developers so they can help you further.

Long term, it might be worth moving towards a more traditional WooCommerce setup as I’ve described above. WooCommerce.com sells the Bookings plugin and support is included as long as you have a valid license.
