    I’m just testing your plugin on a staging site. I activated the customer consent in checkout. Then I placed two order. One with checkbox ticked, one without.

    Now if I go to look at the orders I see that on both order below the shipping address it says:

    Would you like to be invited to review your order? Check here to receive a message from CusRev (an independent reviews service) with a review form.:Nein

    I know I can also see on the total order overview page for each order whether consent has been given or not, but unfortunately the above message also appears in the order confirmation email sent to the customer. Even if a customer agreed to a review being sent, it say he/she apparently not gave consent “Nein”. (that’s German for no ?? )

    I use WPML, but I haven’t done any translation yet, because I’m only testing.

    Can you tell me why the status of consent always says no? Is there a way to optionally remove this additional information from the customer order email?

    Much appreciate it, if you could help me.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

    There is an issue with the consent status after completing the checkout process and the development team is working on it to fix the issue.
    If you want to remove the consent text, please go to the admin area > Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder tab:
    – Verified Reviews: No verification.
    – Disable Customer Consent option.

    No, I don’t want to remove the text. I need the customer consent. I only want to remove this text from the order confirmation email sent to the customer. Your plugin adds this message to the Woocommerce email and I cannot find any way to remove it. When I look at the Woocommerce emails this additional text is not shown.

    Can you help me on how to remove this text only from the email, so the customer doesn’t get it in their email? The text in checkout is fine and I need it there.

    I found an interims solution until the error is fixed. For those who don’t have hundreds of orders consenting to reviews (unfortunately in Germany most of the customers do not consent to an email being sent), disable automatic review emails, create an extra checkbox with a note showing on the order page in your child theme and then simply send the review email manually when the order is delivered. Yes, it’s a lot of extra work, but better than sending error messages to your customers ??

    Thank you for your patience. The issue with “Yes” / “No” consent should be resolved in the version 5.50.0. Could you please install the update and let us know if you are still experiencing this problem?

    Unfortunately, after installing version 5.50.0, the issue with the “Yes” / “No” consent is still not resolved. The consent is still showing as “No” when the checkbox is checked.

    Could you please provide further assistance to resolve this issue?

    pro version 1.7.1 also does the same error ??

    The same issue here. I don’t want the consent text to be shown on the order page shipping info part, and definitely not in the order confirmation emails to the customer. Please remove that asap.

    The problem is clearly the same for everyone. Everything works as it should, except that the email and orders always show a negative response.
    Can that notification be temporarily removed from the email?

    When we test it on our website, the problem with positive / negative response to a consent message is resolved in the version 5.50.0. If you are still experiencing the issue, we will need to see it to be able provide a fix.

    Could you share a link to a product page that we can use to test the checkout and see the issue?

    Can you please remove the consent text from the additional information tab in the order email! There is no need for it to be there. At least give us an option box so we can choose to have it or not.

    @pistachio6321 I can give you access to my staging site if needed. It’s in maintenance mode and I don’t want to make that domain visible to third parties.
