The footer alignment when I go to the “Customise” page and select mobile view differs from when I view the website in my actual phone browser.

I have already set everything to align in the center on mobile view using my desktop and it displays correctly on the computer, but when I switch to my phone to view the website, one particular part of the footer (the page links) is aligned to the right instead.

    Screenshots for reference:

How it looks like on my phone: https://postimg.cc/cgWCct0G

How exactly do I get it to align to the center in the phone browser?

Unfortunately my site has not launched yet so I can’t provide a link to the page. Is there any way I can send screenshots of what you would need to check instead?

    Hi @cloudslly,

Kindly go to your Customizer > Footer
See this screenshot on how to change the mobile alignment on the footer area.

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply.

I had already tried the suggested method in your screenshot before I started this thread. It didn’t work, which is why I posted on the forum.

The alignment is set to center on mobile view via Customizer > Footer and settings are saved, but when I check the site in my phone browser it’s aligned to the right. My idea is to have that particular footer aligned center when viewing on mobile, and aligned right when viewing on the computer. But right now it’s aligned right on both mobile and computer even after using your method.

    Hi @cloudslly!

Unfortunately we are not able to replicate this issue. On our test instances, the elements from the footer are properly centered on mobile and right-aligned on desktop, so the issue may occur due to a plugin conflict on your end. Please install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, enable the troubleshooting mode which will deactivate all plugins and check if the issue persists. If the problem doesn’t occur anymore, it means it was indeed caused by a plugin conflict and you should reactivate the plugins one by one, until you find the culprit. Then, replace that plugin with an alternative one.

    I hope this helps!

    Have a nice day!
