I’m working on a plugin that displays Bible chapters for a given day of the year, so that in one year the entire Bible can be read.
I’ve got it working pretty well so far, but I would like to incorporate Scripturizer so that the chapter names are hyperlinks to an online Bible.
Does anyone know if this is possible to do and, if it is, how I would go about doing it.

    Moshu –
Thanks, but from what I can tell it is used on the publish_post event. I’m not sure how I could use it on a plugin that goes in your sidebar that is not dependent on publishing a post.

I don’t really know the details – just remembered seeing this plugin on Wiki.
Actually this site says you can use it anywhere:

Thanks a bunch for that link… it looks like that should take care of it.

I have one more question… is there a way to tell if a plugin is installed and enabled? I’d like the option of not requiring Scripturizer for this plugin to work, but I don’t know how to write code to check if it is installed and enabled.
If there’s no way to do it, I guess I can just give the user the option to link the text or not during installation.

I hope this question isn’t addressed to me, because I am not a coder by any means. (Just a diligent user of the search engines, LOL).
Maybe somebody can answer your question…
