    Hello there @sfbrown ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We have an internal blog – post notifications are sent to staff immediately. In the past 2 weeks, post notifications are mostly not sending. This morning, 1 post out of 4 were sent. I’ve been testing and experiencing the same results. Has something changed?

There hasn’t been any update lately that should affect your post-notification set up. Can you let us know what version of the plugin you’re using?

When you go to MailPoet > Help > System Status, do you see any stuck events there or errors?

For the posts you’re creating, are they new posts, or edits of previous posts?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Do you limit how many emails I can send to a user in a specific amount of time (example: 3 emails per hour)? I just had 3 emails go through (2 that were queued up and 1 test post) and then the next test post never was sent. That last post does not even appear in any of the sending tasks. The post is up on our site, yet mail poet completely ignored it as if it did not exist.

    Hi there @sfbrown,

Just to confirm, you have Post Notifications set up to go out whenever you make a new post, but are seeing some go, and some not, is this correct?

Are your Post Notifications by chance pulling in Latest Content filtered by category or tag? We have a current open issue where:

    • if the Post Notification is set to send “immediately”
    • and the Latest Content block is filtered by category or tag
    • only one post per day will be sent in that category/tag; that is, the first post of the day in that category/tag will go out, but any remaining posts with the same category/tag made on the same day will not

Does this sound like the issue?

If so, then we know that downgrading the base plugin will work as a workaround. Please try downgrading to 4.58.2 and see if this resolves the issue.

If I’ve misunderstood what the core problem is, please do let me know and we will investigate further. Screenshots of your post notification settings would be helpful!
