  • Hi Pier, the first issue is (probably) that you have set .jpg images to be autodetected but this particular image has “jpeg” as extension, not “jpg”. You can either re-name and re-upload the image as .jpg or you can add .jpeg to the autodetect field on Settings > Media.

The second issue appears to come from the menu. You link directly to some images there (for example Projets > In the works > Last Film). They are automatically included.

You can either disable FancyBox for these images by giving the menu items a class “nofancybox” or you can get the Pro version that will give you the option to limit automatic galleries to certain sections of your pages. In your case, a div.entry-content would probably do the trick.

Thank you, Rolf, for your response.

    Two things:
    1. I am no coder and those two options:

“by giving the menu items a class nofancybox”

    &

    ” a div.entry-content”

    are beyond my skill level.

    2. I am no longer working… so your yearly pricing is unfortunately too much for my means.

Just to be clear, unless one sets it up differently (in ways that may surpass my understanding), does one fancybox display on one page – like the one discussed above – lead automatically to other fancy boxes on other pages?
And finally, are captions not showing up on popup windows?

    Thank you very much.

When editing your menu, you can give menu items a custom class name: go to Appearance > Menus admin page and open the tab “Screen Option” at the top right. Activate/select the option “CSS Classes” if it not already is selected. Close the tab and then go and find the menu items that link directly to image files. When opening an item options (click the triangle) you will see a field “CSS Classes” where you can enter nofancybox

Another approach could be to simply disable the automatic gallery feature in FancyBox: go to Settings > Media and look for the option Autogallery in the Images section. Set it to Disabled.
