We have installed woocommerce plugin but when we use it in our website we see an inconsistency of log-in and non log-in users see about the purchase finish page. On the purchase completion page, we can see the email address and phone number of the logged-in user, but we cannot see the email address and phone number of the non-logged-in user. How can we fix this problem?

    Hi there @joyfy,

From the shared screenshots, it seems you are logged into the dashboard as an administrator, the reason why you are able to see more details as compared to the second screenshot. Could you try logging into a customer test account and confirm of seeing the same?

WooCommerce is designed to capture and display information of logged-in users for better user experience and security. For non-logged-in users, WooCommerce doesn’t display personal information like email or phone number on the purchase completion page for privacy reasons.

I hope this helps, please let us know if you need further assistance.

    Cheers!

    Hey @noeeka,

What you are experiencing is expected behavior with WooCommerce core. Here are the results from my test site using the latest version of WooCommerce core and the default Storefront theme:

    Logged-in User:

    Guest Checkout:

Email addresses will be visible exclusively for registered users on the site once an order is placed. For guest purchases, the email address will not be displayed on the order received page since there is no customer associated with the order during guest checkout.

There is a potential solution to address this by developing a custom solution to populate the data into the “Order Received” page using the Billing Details of a guest user.

If you are interested in exploring this possibility further, you may consider reaching out to official WooCommerce development partners through the following link. They specialize in custom development tasks and can assist in implementing tailored solutions:

    Hope this helps!
