Inconsistent captions

    I have this issue with multiple sites. All are on GeneratePress theme but I’m not sure that matters.

    If I create a regular WordPress gallery with captions and insert it in the page, captions show under each image on the page. But if I click the first image to open the lightbox and start navigating through the images in the lightbox, I only see captions on some images and even as I move back and forth, the captions that showed before don’t show when I go back to the image.

    Nevermind. The issue is caused by the top and bottom bar hiding automatically after 5 seconds. The solution is to disable that feature. It would be nice to have the option to show the caption elsewhere so it doesn’t get hidden.
