Sorry for this non support post, but this is for the developer, who appears not to be contactable via the website.

    1) Your own developer comment wall is not working, and there appears to be no method of contacting the developer…

    2) The plugin uses both the names posts in pages and post for pages. Perhaps stick to one name

    3) Is there supposed to be a general settings page? If so, where is it?

    4) the read me is raw html and is painfully hard to read

    Hi blitz999,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Not sure I understand it all. When you say:

    1) Your own developer comment wall is not working, and there appears to be no method of contacting the developer…

We use this www.remarpro.com Support Forum for all plugin questions, feature requests, feedback, etc. I’m not sure what you mean by the developer comment wall.

    2) The plugin uses both the names posts in pages and post for pages. Perhaps stick to one name

The correct title is Posts in Page and I’ll look around to make sure we fix where it might be called something different.

    3) Is there supposed to be a general settings page? If so, where is it?

Nope. Just activate and use the shortcodes.

    4) the read me is raw html and is painfully hard to read

The readme.txt file uses Markdown syntax like every other plugin in the repository. The readme.txt file gets parsed by www.remarpro.com Plugin Repo and presented as the pages you see for the plugin.

If you’d like to see the readme in one file, check the main page of the GitHub repository for Posts in Page.

    Hello Eric,

Ah, so you’re the author! OK, firstly – brilliant little plugin. Got it functioning very quickly. I’m pretty sure all my questions are to do with little idiosyncrasies rather than functionality.

    1) Developer wall – sorry, meant the plugin page comments on your site. I was unable to post a comment there – asks for an email, but there is no field to add one.

    2) the php is called posts-for-page.php. I know it seems minor, but you get these minor differences in the plugin repository, and I wasn’t quite sure if I was in the right forum!

    3) OK, no probs with that. Might add that I couldn’t see a way (other than edit the plugin) to adjust the excerpt length – is there a shortcode call for that?

    4) OK… I understand… I’m looking at the read me within the plugin folder itself though(readme.txt). Yours is the only plugin I’m seeing html tags on?

Thanks for getting back – appreciated. Will send you a link to the finished site as I’m doing some fun things with the plugin.

    Thanks; we appreciate it.

I honestly have no idea which page you’re referring to. As far as I know, we don’t have a plugin page on the current site. I happen to be working on our soon-to-be-launched new site that does have pages for each plugin.

    2) the php is called posts-for-page.php. I know it seems minor, but you get these minor differences in the plugin repository, and I wasn’t quite sure if I was in the right forum!

Still not sure I follow you. None of the files in our plugin is called posts-for-page.php – I think you’re referring to another plugin that we’re not affiliated with:

Again, not our plugin. Posts for Page does have HTML in its readme.txt.

Thanks for getting back – appreciated. Will send you a link to the finished site as I’m doing some fun things with the plugin.

My conclusion: you aren’t using out plugin at all.
