• Hello! We have added woocommerce and two products to our website. The website is fully in Spanish from Spain and the Theme is a child-theme from Neve Pro. They are just basic service online, so they do not have delivery configured. The problem is that we needed to extend checkout options, and for that we have tried the plugin Checkout Field Editor. With this plugin the checkout shows the fields we need, but the translation is incomplete and checkout seems strange, with a mix of English and Spanish. With another plugin, called WooCommerce Checkout Manager, the translation was better, but we could not manage the customization of the contact fields. We have tried to solve it with Loco Translate; but we cannot find those pieces of text, in plugins or in Themes. Even we have changed the Theme to one of the “twenties”, and even with Storefront; but nothing about it changes. Suggestions? Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hello ziordia68,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that after adding WooCommerce and configuring your site in Spanish, the checkout page displays a mix of English and Spanish when using the Checkout Field Editor plugin.

Could you check if the issue persists when you deactivate the Checkout Field Editor plugin? This will help determine if the problem also affects default WooCommerce checkout fields.

Additionally, please share your site’s System Status Report with me.
You can paste it into https://pastebin.com and share the link here.

Looking forward to your response. ??

Hello! Now I am trying with another plugin, Flexible Checkout fields, deleting Checkout field Editor, and the problem changes but continues. Some of the chains are translated now; but not all of them. For instance, I can still read “Contact Information”, and “We’ll use this email to send you details and updates about your order”. And “Payment Options”. I can see now translated billing address fields, but not the introduction “Enter the billing address that matches your payment method”

And without any checkout plugin at all, the problem continues like with Flexible Checkout Fields. Improves, but still strange mixed.

I am not confident about pastebin. Is there another way in which I can share the System Status Report?

    Hello ziordia68,

    Thank you for your reply.

And without any checkout plugin at all, the problem continues like with Flexible Checkout Fields. Improves, but still strange mixed.

Do you mean the problem persists when only WooCommerce is active and it behaves the same as when the Flexible Checkout fields plugin was active? First, we have to determine if the problem occurs with only the WooCommerce plugin active.

Please share screenshots for better understanding.

Hello! You can see an example, without any checkout plugin at all active: https://snipboard.io/GILsEK.jpg

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my site, and I can see that the text is translated properly. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue shown in your screenshot: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTneosnfLhb.

This indicates that there might be a plugin or setting on your site causing the issue. To assist you further, we will need your site’s system report. I tried checking the Pastebin link you shared earlier, but I wasn’t able to see any SSR in that link. Could you please share the SSR report again? Once we have more information, we will be happy to assist you further.

As you can see, without plugins, the problem remains. However, it is more complex when the plugin is on.

    Hi there!

I noticed in your screenshot that the text “We will use this email to send you details and updates regarding your order.” is not being translated even when all plugins are deactivated. However, I’m not able to replicate this issue on my live site.

Currently, I see the “woo-checkout-field-editor-pro” plugin is still active, and the placeholders for some fields are not being translated on your site.

To help troubleshoot further, could you please create a staging site, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, activate a default theme like Storefront, and share the staging site URL here so we can investigate further?

    Thank you
