Hi, can you enable Debug mode.

Next time someone registers in your site and you run into the same problem, check the log file. The log file should let you know what is happening during the registration process.

For future reference to help you resolve some of the plugins issues, please read the following debug mode explanation. Posted by one of the developers.

Enabling Debug Mode will help you figure out what is going on for things like the following:

    1) Payments are made but something is not happening correctly after the payment.
    2) MailChimp (autoresponder) signup is not working correctly.
    3) Some kind of cronjob is not working correctly.
    4) Recurring payment is not working correctly.
    5) A member paid for upgrade but it didn’t work correctly.

Basically, for actions where the plugin writes to the log file. When some of those actions are not working as expected then the debug option can reveal where things went wrong.

Essentially, if there is something to do with the payments (whereby a payment has been made but something didn’t work as expected), then the debug option is the first thing to do and check. This will provide you with a log file which can help you and us in the forum to troubleshoot issues you are experiencing. The information in the log file helps the developers know if the plugin received the notification from PayPal (payment gateway) and what it did after the notification.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

I have now enabled debug mode. In the meantime, the registration completion links are not working to take these two new members to complete their registration. What do you recommend?

Hi, carry out the following steps to get your members to complete their registration.

Go to Tools tab under Settings. This will allow you to generate the completion link for the members that have not yet completed their registration.

Let me know if you need more information or help.

    Thank you

    Hi mbrsolution

The point is, that the completion links don’t work (see above). What is the remedy for that?

    Thank you,

Hi, sorry for misunderstanding your original question. Can you reinstall the plugin. Then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

I want to confirm that uninstalling plugin will not delete data or settings. Please advise.

    Thank you.

Hi, uninstalling and then reinstalling the plugin will not delete the data or settings. However it is always a good idea to create a backup just in case something weird happens.

    Kind regards

Hi are you aware there is a popup that states data will be deleted, when I begin to uninstall?

Hi, I have deleted this plugin many times and I have never lost any data. However you never know if one day something might go wrong. In that case, if you want you can create a backup of your site or the database. Then delete the plugin. There is no harm in doing this.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

Ok I renamed the initial version of the plugin from the file manager and reinstalled. Thanks. But I still cannot access https://www.azsta.org/member-registration/?member_id=11583&code=b9f0bfc9c4ffb85fa8043de146789367 for example. There are two more.

I DID set the old installation to record a log file, but it is empty.

I do not know if this is connected to a separate issue I submitted this morning, which is that the data exporter doesn’t export data, but does export html from the website. Very odd. That submission is being held for review, I imagine because the content is quite long.

Hi, unfortunately I am out of ideas. You might need the following support option.

    Kind regards
