    Hello,

I am very pleased with this plugin. It does exactly what I want, but unfortunately not all episodes are imported. There are only 105 imported.

I tried as mentioned in this support forum to do the import several times and also without the featured image, but with no luck.

I get this error message when I’m trying to do the important again:

Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in /www/wp-content/plugins/podcast-importer-secondline/class-secondline-podcast-import.php on line 360 Geen nieuwe afleveringen ge?mporteerd, alle afleveringen zijn al ge?mporteerd in WordPress!

Also it’s not searching for new import at every hour while it’s visible as planned in the settings page.

Could someone please help me out?

    Hi @vasco203,

Thanks for using our plugin and for reaching out!

First, if not all episodes were imported, it means you might have existing posts/episodes with the same titles of the ones you’re trying to import.

If that’s not the case, you can try running the importer a few more times and see if it imports more posts.

As for the automatic import (and the error you’ve mentioned) – sounds like there’s something wrong with your server configuration. Could you please contact your hosting provider with that error, and perhaps also ask them if they apply any restrictions on the server’s Cron jobs?

    Thanks for the quick answer!
I tried it immediately and it looks like I already had that imports in my bin. Maybe from some other time I tried earlier. Thanks!

I will contact my hosting provider.

Another question: if I delete my podcast from Anchor. What will happen with my post on wordpress?

    Regards,

    Vasco

    Hi Vasco,

Great – whenever you delete the older episodes from the trash, you should be able to run the importer again.

As for the second question – if you delete your podcast/feed, it’ll stay on WordPress – you’ll have to manually delete it separately if you want it removed.

    Thanks!
And what will happen with the audio file?
Does the plug-in save it anywhere on my server?

Is there also an option to show the ‘listen on’ buttons in the post? Like Spotify, Apple podcast, etc?

    Thanks!

Yeah the audio files would be unavailable. We don’t import the audio to your WordPress server (although you can find other ways to do it, I believe).

You can use our free Podcast Subscribe Buttons plugin for the links –

I have that plugin to. It works great, but hoped there was an option for visitors to click on their favorite podcast service button to directly play the podcast on the page they visit.

    Thanks a lot!

Oh I see. Yeah this is not available for now. We may add it in the future, though!

I’m going to mark this ticket as resolved but please do let us know if you have any other questions.
