Incompatible with social media share plugins

We need to include a “share” widget on one of our pages, however after activating a social media sharing plugin (we tried AddToAny and Sassy Social Share) we get menu visibility errors, and in fact the whole menu seems to be deleted from appearance > menus, as reflected by the If menu error message:

If Menu detected that another plugin or theme (Walker_Nav_Menu_Edit) extends menu items incorrectly. This may cause duplicate visibility rules to show up, but functionality should be fine.

Notably, we can only disable share options on all other locations (besides the widget) after we activated the plugin. These are well known sharing plugins with hundreds of thousands downloads and therefore are surprised those are not compatible. Is there any way to fix this, or suggestion for a social media sharing plugin that is compatible? I also reached out to the developers of those plugins, however did not receive a response yet.
