• I am a great fan of Events Manager and use it on a number of sites. But clients are now asking for a Page Builder facility in order to create responsive columns.

Beaver Builder Page Builder does not work when the Events Manager plugin is installed and activated. Although the Page Builder editor starts on a page, you cannot then load rows and widgets. I have contacted BeaverBuilder and they sent me the following response:

“I can actually drag and drop modules but they’re not sticking to the content. I can’t think of why this wouldn’t be working unless the Events Manager plugin uses document.write to add their contents and unfortunately, that is no longer within our control and is something that the plugin needs to change so that they don’t override contents from other plugins.”

Is Events Manager using document.write? And if so, is there anything than can be done to make the two plugins compatible? Thank you.

  • Events Manager doesn’t use document.write. Which version of Events Manager, Beaver Builder and WordPress are you using?

    Hi thanks for your reply.

    I’m using BB 1.9.2, EM 5.6.6.1 and WP 4.7

I select to create a new Event, click on ‘Page Builder’ which launches the BB interface but then am unable to drag a row layout onto the page – there is no dashed rectangle to drag a row layout into.

If I create a new ordinary Page then I can drag row layouts onto the BB interface.

Have you tested while running the default WordPress theme and with only Events Manager and Beaver Builder running?

Yes, tested with Twenty Seventeen theme. Same problem.
