• Hi there!

I assume this plugin is incompatible with Polylang. I can insert the logo carousel without any problems on the main language, but on the second language, I get this Javascript error in the browser console:

Uncaught TypeError: can’t assign to property “_key” on “”: not an object

Would be great if you could have a look!

    Thanks in advance!

    All the best
    Torsten

    Hello @zodiac1978,

I hope you are doing well.

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like there might be a conflict with Polylang and Divi Carousel Lite. To help us troubleshoot further, could you please share with us the full procedure you followed to integrate Polylang with the carousel?

If possible, a screen recording of the process would be really helpful for us to understand the issue better.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Hi @asifsiam97

Here are the steps to reproduce the problem:

    1. Install a WordPress (in my case I spin up a new instance in Local).
    2. Install Polylang (free) and use two languages in the onboarding process. For me: German (main) and US English.
    3. Install and activate Divi.
    4. Install and activate Divi Carousel Lite.
    5. Edit a page (German, main language), add a carousel – works
    6. Create a translation of the page (clicking the plus sign in the backend) and use the Divi builder to build the translated page – try to add a carousel – does not work!

The module is not added and there is an error in the browser console:
Uncaught TypeError: can't assign to property "_key" on "": not an object

    Any fixes are much appreciated!

    All the best
    Torsten
