incompatible with bbpress and Buddypress?

  • Hello!

    I just tried your theme and noticed the following things:

    1. bbpress: Any searches I make on bbpress forums (surprisingly) show blog results and not forum results.
    2. Buddypress: The search boxes on The “Members” and “Group” directory pages do not show up at all.

    Although, Everything else related to bbpress and Buddypress looks pretty smooth. Is this theme is not compatible with bbpress/Buddypress?

    yes, currently I haven’t tested it with bbpress/buddypress. I’ll try to look after it.

    Thanks Rizky. I just want to add that I have tested a lot of themes on bbpress and buddypress and usually it takes quite a bit of tweaking to get them to look reasonable inside the themes. But Padhang just looks beautiful out-of-the-box on the forums and communities.

    Just an update: The #2 issue I reported about Buddypress is not this theme’s issue, but caused by a default css setting in BP. It can be modified so to make the boxes reappear: 

    #buddypress div.dir-search {
    float: right;
    margin: 0;
}
