Incompatible? Simple Lightbox vs Responsive Full Width Background Slider

Hi All, I love this plugin which does exactly what I want… but I can’t make it play nicely with another favourite plugin, Simple Lightbox. When I have both activated, Gallery links just result in a black screen and no pop-up. I’ve tried this on two site, here’s one where relatively little else is going on:

(Incidentally I’ve tried both the current release 2.3.1 and the 2.4.0 beta3 of Simple Lightbox, but both are doing this.) Any idea if this is fundamental to their scripting, or if there’s a relatively simple fix?
