    Thanks for reaching out. There is nothing ‘new’ in the current version, except for a requirement of PHP 8 as the minimum PHP version the plugin supports supports.

    PHP 8 is now the standard accepted version across most hosts and you should look to upgrade to ensure you benefit from speed and security optimisations offered within this version. PHP 7.xxx is now end of life and only supported by security patches. You can read more about that here.

    The plugin will work fine on version 2.0.2.

    To increase your PHP version to PHP 8, you would need to contact your hosting company.
