Incompatibility with Yoast
-
Hi & fyi:
I discovered an error, which seems to be a compatibility issue between the Yoast-Plugin and Contact-Form 7 (and Flamingo?):
- UI: Clicking Submit leads to spinning wheel (https://contactform7.com/faq/the-spinning-arrow-icon-shows-up-once-i-submit-a-form/) and returns an 500 error in the console (sending an invalid / empty form works fine)
- Server: The following error is triggered (with my clients path removed):
[08-Jan-2019 17:41:33 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 2 passed to WPSEO_Link_Watcher::save_post() must be an instance of WP_Post, null given, called in [wordpress-path]/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288 and defined in [wordpress-path]/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php:43 Stack trace: #0 [wordpress-path]/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(288): WPSEO_Link_Watcher->save_post(0, NULL) #1 [wordpress-path]/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 [wordpress-path]/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 [wordpress-path]/wp-includes/post.php(3673): do_action('save_post', 0, NULL, false) #4 [wordpress-path]/wp-content/plugins/flamingo/includes/class-inbound-message.php(224): wp_insert_post(Array) #5 [wordpress-path]/wp in [wordpress-path]/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php on line 43
Disabling Yoast solves the problem, but my client sure wants to use that plugin.
I hope this is the right forum to post (as it is no bug report forum).
Thx and have a nice time!
