  • Hi @lonfeldt

We are releasing the 4.12.0 release of the plugin. This is the last version before the 5.0.0 release.
In this 5.0.0 we expect to embed a new mechanism which will fixes these WordPress version dependencies problem.
    Kind regards

I have installed Matomo on one of my websites to try it out. WP-Rocket is also installed on this website, and there seems to be no issues?

    Hello @wp-opti

The problem with WP-Rocket appears only during the archiving process (This process loads your visits and transform your data into the reports): so you’ll have visits in your visitor log, but no data displayed in your reports.

To fix it, you could downgrade to a WP-Rocket compatible version.
    https://github.com/matomo-org/matomo-for-wordpress/wiki/Downgrade-wp-rocket-to-a-version-compatible-with-the-Matomo-plugin
There are no security issues fixed since this version, so it should not be a problem to downgrade to this version.

Our patch is in progress. It should be released in the next Matomo major version, which is the next scheduled release.

    Kind regards

    Mat
