    Hi,

I use Media File Renamer and WP Smush Pro which makes backup files like:
    something.bak.jpg
    something-100×100.bak.jpg
    etc.

This backup files are not renamed.

    How to fix it?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

It’s difficult do to that, because those are backups, and some other plugins actually copy those files in other folders, and I will never be able to keep up with other plugins changes. If I promise to implement this, I need this to work forever and to always test it, so I’d rather tell you to make sure you optimize you photos first, then rename. Also, those backup files are just there to make sure ou don’t regret your optimization settings. You should try it first, then no need to use the backup if it works fine ?? I think simple solutions are the best, plugins should remain the simplest as they can without covering all cases imaginable (because that’s basically dangerous, more chance for problems)
