Incompatibility with WordPress and Yoast

    I installed WP Tumblr Auto Publish and it looked great until I noticed two compatibility issues with the latest version of WordPress.

    If WP Tumblr Auto Publish is active, Tags are crippled in WordPress under WP 4.9.8. The TAG section is still present, but you cannot search or add tags.

    Additionally, Yoast SEO Plugin becomes crippled when WP Tumblr Auto Publish is installed.

    As soon as WP Tumblr Auto Publish is disabled, Tags and Yoast begin working like normal.

    Can this be looked into? You’ve got what might be the best Tumblr auto-post tool out there, but it’s not usable currently as a result of these conflicts.

  • We just checked this with WordPress 4.9.8 and Yoast SEO Plugin,everything works as expected.
    Could you please provide a screenshot?

    A little more info: reinstalled the plugin. Prior to entering the Secret keys/account info there is no conflict. Everything works as normal until we set up WP Tumblr Auto Publish.

    Once we save settings, YOAST and Tags are suddenly disabled. The TAGS box is still there, but you cannot enter add any tags, and there are no suggested tags (autocomplete).

    YOAST does not allow you to add SEO keywords. There is no longer an option to add SEO headline etc.

    Just want to note the screenshot provided, all YOAST keywords were filled in. When we activate and configure WP Tumblr Auto Publish, the information previously entered into YOAST vanishes.

    We will update the plugin soon.
