Incompatibility with WordPress 4.5

Notice: get_currentuserinfo has become obsolete since version 4.5. Use wp_get_current_user() instead. in /usr/home/example.com/web/web/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3662I get a message like this in my Meks widget since updating to WP 4.5. Is it necessary to wait for an update to the plugin? Thanks!
