What is “the new Google Spreadsheet”? I just created a new spreadsheet and used this plugin to make it show up on my blog. It worked fine. Please complete all the fields in this bug reporting template if you are having problems.

This is an example link of the new Google Spreadsheet:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bvaKm2zOfNN79ndLus7…..

This is an example link of the old version of Google Sp.:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al7FpEzkNwGUdG1qemV…..

In the old version everything works fine and i want say you: THANKS A LOT!
But in the new version of Google Sp. if I click on Publish this the link is different and nothing works.
This link for example doesn’t work:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bvaKm2zOfNN79nd%5B……%5DZlzdkPUJHjGY0/pubhtml

Try the new version of Google Sp.

    Thanks.

None of the links you posted are functional Google Spreadsheet links. I’m not able to assist you with using Google Spreadsheets. You can use the Google help pages as linked in the plugin FAQ to learn more about Google Spreadsheets. If you want to file a bug report, fill in all fields using the bug reporting template I linked in my previous post.

Again, those links are examples, I can’t give you my link of my private documents.

Try to use the new Google Sp. For now I am using the old and it with your plugin works perfectly. If you open a Google document Sp. you’ll notice that in the bottom right corner there is a link to the new version of Google Sp and then you know what I mean.

    Thanks anyway for the effort.

Ah, now I see what you mean by “the new Google Spreadsheets.” As described in the Google help article, the new Google Spreadsheets still has some features in development. Though unlisted, one of those features is “publish as a CSV.” This plugin relies on accessing comma-separated values data from Google Spreadsheets. Until this feature becomes available in the new Google Spreadsheets, you should use the workaround provided by Google to revert your spreadsheet back to the old Google Spreadsheets in order to use it with this plugin.

I may implement support for the new Google Spreadsheets when they officially launch, but not before.

Ok Meitar, thanks a lot to you.

    I can close the topic.

I played around with the “new” Google Spreadsheets this morning and decided implement an experimental feature to support them. The new version 0.4 of this plugin will now support the “new” Google Spreadsheets, but only experimentally. I still strongly recommend that you revert to the old Google Spreadsheets for any important documents that you use with this plugin.

In the 0.4 the “gid” function BREAK and doesn’t work. Please fix.

Whoops, thanks for catching that. Fixed in 0.4.1.

Now everything works. W Meitar! ??
